- 1 lb. bulk pork sausage
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1/2 c. water or tomato juice
- 2 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 2 c. dairy sour cream
Directions

1Brown sausage in heavy skillet, breaking meat apart with a fork.

2Pour fat off as it collects (important).

3Stir in remaining ingredients except sour cream.

4Bring to a boil; cover pan. Simmer, stirring often to prevent sticking.

5Cook until macaroni is tender, 20 to 25 minutes.

6Blend in sour cream.

7Reheat just to boiling.

8Makes 6 servings.
