- medium size cabbage, grated
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 medium onion, diced fine
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. vinegar
Directions

1Soak cabbage in cold water a while if you have time.

2Add salt to enough water to cover cabbage.

3Put over cabbage and let set 15 minutes.

4Stir occasionally, squeeze out real dry and add pepper and onion. Measure sugar and vinegar.

5Add to cabbage. This slaw will keep in refrigerator for 3 weeks.
