Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
- 2 c. cold water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1 c. nonfat dry milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- approximately 6 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1In a 5-quart bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water; let stand 5 minutes.

2Add cold water, powdered milk, oil, sugar and salt; stir well.

3Gradually add about 6 cups flour, stirring well after each addition so no flour pockets will remain at the bottom of the bowl. Dough should feel as if ready to knead.

4Cover with plastic wrap; let stand in draft-free place overnight.

5Turn dough out on floured surface, adding flour if necessary.

6Divide in half and shape to fit 2 greased 9 x 3-inch pans.

7Cover with plastic wrap; let rise until doubled.

8Bake at 400° for 25 minutes.

9Remove from pans; cool on rack.
