Small Nut Rolls

- 7 c. flour
- 2 c. shortening
- 1 large cake yeast
- 6 large egg yolks
- 1 can evaporated milk
Directions

1Mix flour and shortening.

2Crumble in cake of yeast.

3Add egg yolks, beaten with some of evaporated milk.

4Add remainder of milk to flour mixture.

5Knead well and refrigerate overnight.

6Roll a ball of dough as you would for pie, using sugar instead of flour. Cut into triangles.

7Spread with nut filling and roll up like crescent rolls.

8Roll in sugar before putting on lightly greased cookie sheet.

9Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes until lightly browned.

10Makes 8 dozen.

11Can also use apricot filling.
