- 1/2 lb. smoked salmon
- 1/2 lb. cream cheese
- 1/3 c. chopped scallions
- 1/4 c. finely chopped dill
- 2 Tbsp. aquavit (optional)
- Tabasco sauce to taste
- freshly ground pepper to taste
- juice of half a lemon
- buttered toast or crackers
- chopped raw onion
- drained capers
Directions

1Combine all ingredients except toast, chopped onion and capers in the container of a food processor or blender.

2Blend to a fine puree.

3Pour the mixture into a serving dish.

4Smooth the top and chill.

5Serve on toast or crackers with chopped onion and drained capers on the side.
