- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 4 c. milk
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. cheese
- smokies (sausage), sliced
- 1 pkg. frozen corn
Directions

1In saucepan cook onion in butter or margarine until tender, but not brown.

2Blend in flour, salt and pepper.

3Add milk all at once.

4Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.

5Stir in sausage and corn.

6Simmer 10 minutes.
