Smothered Cabbage Wedge

- 1 medium cabbage
- 1/2 c. chopped bell peppers
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 3/4 c. shredded cheese
- 3 Tbsp. chili sauce
Directions

1Cut cabbage into 8 wedges.

2Boil in salt water until tender. Drain well and place in baking dish.

3Cook peppers and onion until tender in pan.

4Add salt, pepper and flour, then milk.

5Cook until thick.

6Pour over cabbage.

7Bake, uncovered, at 375° in oven for 20 minutes; remove.

8Combine cheese, mayonnaise and chili sauce. Spoon over cabbage and bake 5 more minutes.
