- 6 gar steaks
- 1 clove garlic
- 3/4 full skillet of cooking oil
- season steaks to taste
- 1 c. meal
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt (optional)
- 1 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Combine meal and flour and coat steaks.

2Fry in hot oil until done.

3Remove steaks and excess oil from skillet, leaving about 2 tablespoons and fish renderings.

4Add garlic and onions.

5Cook until soft.

6Add 2 cups of water; bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.

7Add steaks.

8Bring to boil again.
-
9Lower heat, cover and simmer.
-
10Serve with rice.
