  • 1 German chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup oleo
  • 1/3 cup milk or cream
  • 1 [14oz] pkg of caramels
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup nuts

    Prepare cake mix, spread half the batter in a greased 9x13 pan. Bake @ 350 degrees for 20mn. Melt caramels, oleo and milk until smooth. Put on cake, top with chips and nuts. Dot rest of the batter over all. Reduce heat to 250 degrees for 20mn then at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 mn Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
