- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 3/4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Heat oven to 400°.

2Mix thoroughly the butter, shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.

3Shape dough by rounded teaspoonful into balls.

4Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and the cinnamon.

5Roll balls in mixture and place 2-inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Remove immediately from baking sheet.
