- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. shortening
- 2 eggs
- 2 3/4 c. sifted flour
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- sugar and cinnamon mixture
Directions

1Cream sugar, shortening and eggs.

2Sift flour, cream of tartar and salt; add to creamed mixture.

3Mix until well blended; chill, if desired.

4Form into small balls the size of small walnuts. Roll in sugar and cinnamon mixture.

5Place on an ungreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.

6Bake at 425° (degreased) for 8 to 10 minutes.

7Yield: 90 servings.
