  • 1 lb. margarine
  • 1 lb. (8 oz.) sugar (granulated)
  • 1 lb. (6 oz.) flour
  • 4 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 8 oz. sugar
  • 5 Tbsp. cinnamon

    Cream margarine and sugar on medium speed for 5 minutes.

    Add eggs.

    Mix thoroughly.

    Mix dry ingredients.

    Add to creamed mixture until well blended.

    Combine 8 ounces sugar and cinnamon. Roll dough into 1-inch balls.

    Roll in cinnamon and sugar.

    Place in ungreased baking sheet.

    Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes. These cookies puff up at first, then flatten out with a crinkled top.
