- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 12 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 34 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 5 tablespoons sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350 F.

2Cream butter and sugar together.

3Beat in eggs one at a time.

4In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.

5Slowly mix dry ingredients into the butter mixture.

6Mix together cinnamon and sugar (just like you would for cinnamon toast).

7Roll/Press teaspoonfuls of batter into balls (approx 1 inch diameter).

8Roll the balls in the cinnamon-sugar mix.

9Place on greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart (DON'T PRESS THEM).

10Bake approx 10 min until the cinnamon coating looks cracked.

11Cool on cooling rack.
