  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp. almond flavoring
  • 20 soda crackers, crushed
  • Cool Whip

Directions

    Beat egg whites until they hold a peak. Add cream of tartar, sugar and almond flavoring. Beat until sugar dissolves, then add nuts and crushed crackers. Bake in greased pie plate for 30 minutes at 350°. Let pie cool completely and top with Cool Whip. (Best when allowed to set overnight or for a few hours.)
