- 3/4 c. warm water
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. dry yeast
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- coarse salt
Directions

1Preheat oven to 450°.

2Dissolve yeast, sugar and salt in water.

3Blend in flour.

4Knead 15 to 18 times.

5Let rest 10 minutes.

6Cut into 4 to 6 pieces and shape into pretzels.

7Place onto foil-lined cookie sheet and brush with egg.

8Sprinkle with salt.

9Bake at 450° for 12 to 15 minutes.
