  • 1 qt. water
  • 3 oz. sugar (1/3 c.)
  • 3 oz. milk powder (enough to make 1 qt. milk)
  • 1 oz. salt (3 Tbsp.)
  • 4 oz. shortening (1/4 lb.)
  • 3 oz. yeast (12 packets)
  • 3 lb. flour (12 c.)

Directions

    Combine the ingredients and cover dough.

    Let set for 1 1/2 hours.

    Shape in rolls and place on greased pans.

    Cover and let rise until double in size.

    Bake in a 400° oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
