Soft Shell Crabs

  • 8 soft-shell crabs, cleaned
  • 1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • peanut or vegetable oil

Directions

    Rinse crabs under cold water and drain.
  2. 2
    Coat them in mixture of bread crumbs, flour, salt and pepper.
  3. 3
    Put 1/8 inch oil in a large frying pan, and fry them over medium heat, about 4 minutes on each side, until nicely browned.
