  • 3 1/4 c. sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. soft butter or margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla or nutmeg
  • 1/2 c. sour cream

Directions

    Combine butter, egg, sugar and vanilla. Cream and then add flour mixture of flour, soda and salt. Stir until completely mixed. Roll on lightly floured surface. Sprinkle with sugar. Cut with floured cutter. Bake on lightly greased baking sheet for 8 to 10 minutes at 400°.
