- 1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/2 lb. cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1/2 c. dry sherry
- 1/4 c. finely chopped chives
- 2 Tbsp. brandy or cognac
Directions

1Combine all ingredients in large bowl.

2Mix with wooden spoon or electric mixer until smooth and spreadable.

3Spoon into a crock and cover tightly.

4Chill several hours or overnight.

5Will keep 2 to 3 weeks.
