- 1 lb. chorizo (Spanish sausage)
- 2 cans garbanzo beans
- 1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
- 1 jar whole pimento
- 4 Tbsp. oil
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. cumin
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 c. water
Directions

1Chop chorizo; fry 5 minutes in oil.

2Add cumin, garlic powder, salt, pepper and onion.

3Fry until onion is transparent.

4Add 2 cups of water; bring to a boil.

5Add garbanzos and spinach; bring to boil again.

6Let simmer for half an hour.

7Carefully stir in pimento, cut into slices.

8Serve with hot bread.
