- 2 bunches broccoli
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. sliced onions
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 large egg, slightly beaten
- 1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Trim and separate broccoli.

2Cook in small amount of boiling, salted water for 10 minutes.

3Melt butter and cook onions until soft.

4Cut broccoli into chunks and puree with onions.

5Put in bowl and blend in lemon juice, salt and 3/4 of cheese.

6Fold in egg.

7Spoon into buttered dish.

8Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
