  • 1/2 c. sifted flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. sour cream
  • Nutty Cinnamon Topping
  • powdered sugar

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Prepare a 7 x 3 inch loaf pan. Sift flour with salt and soda, set aside.

    Beat butter with sugar with electric mixer till light and airy, add vanilla and egg, beat till fluffy.

    Stir in 1/2 flour mixture, beat until smooth.

    Add sour cream, beat until smooth, follow with other 1/2 flour, beat 30 seconds until smooth.

    Spread 1/2 batter in pan, sprinkle with 1/2 topping, repeat.

    Bake 30-35 minutes till pulls away from pan and springs back lightly when touched.
