  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. chopped dried figs
  • 1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 c. (2 1/4 sticks) butter or oleo
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
  • 2 large eggs

    Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt.

    Mix figs, nuts, cinnamon and 1 tablespoon sugar in a mixing bowl.

    Cream sugar and butter; beat in eggs.

    Gently beat in sour cream and vanilla; blend in flour mixture.

    Pour in oiled Bundt pan and bake at 350° for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.
