- 3 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 sticks butter (room temperature)
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs, separated (room temperature)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
- 1 c. sour cream
Directions

1Sift flour, soda and salt together.

2Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks one at a time, beating until creamy.

3Add flavoring; add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream to creamed mixture.

4Beat egg whites.

5Fold into mixture.

6Pour into greased and floured tube pan.

7Bake in 300° oven for an hour and 30 minutes.

8Glaze with your favorite glaze, if desired.
