- 1/2 lb. butter
- 3 c.sugar
- 6 egg yolks
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 3 c. cake flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla or other extract
- 6 egg whites
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add egg yolks, then sour cream, mixing well after each addition.

3Add soda, flour and vanilla. Beat egg whites until peaks form.

4Fold into lightly greased and floured tube pan.

5Place in cold oven and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
