  • 2 c. flour (part whole wheat)
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 c. sourdough starter

    Sift dry ingredients into a bowl.

    Cut in butter as for regular biscuits.

    Stir in starter until well mixed.

    Turn onto lightly floured surface; knead very lightly.

    Roll dough 1/2-inch thick and cut into small rounds.

    Place on buttered baking sheet. Bake in 425° oven for about 10 minutes.
