Ingredients

  • 1 c. warm water
  • 2 c. buttermilk
  • 3/4 c. corn oil
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 4 tsp. baking powder (heaping)
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 6 c. flour (no need to sift)
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast

Directions

    Add yeast to warm water and let set 3 to 4 minutes.

    Put all liquids in a big mixing bowl.

    Stir in all dry ingredients.

    Stir until all is mixed.

    Roll out and cut into biscuits.

    No need to let rise.

    Dough may be kept in refrigerator for several days. Bake in a 450° oven until brown.
