- 1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1 c. warm water
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 c. cooking oil
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 6 c. self-rising flour
- 1/2 tsp. soda
Directions

1Dissolve the yeast.

2Add the remaining ingredients.

3Mix well. Add more flour if needed.

4Cover airtight in large mixing bowl. Store in refrigerator for 12 hours.

5Pinch off amount wanted and roll on floured dough board.

6Cut into biscuits.

7Place in greased hot pan; turn once to get grease coated on both sides.

8Bake at 350° until top is golden brown.

9Dough will keep for a week.
