Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 c. warm water

Directions

    Sprinkle the dry yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.

    Let stand until dissolved.

    Stir well.

    Put into a jar and cover.

    Add to other ingredients; mix well.

    Cover and let stand for 2 or 3 days at 78°.

    Stir the mixture down daily.
