Sourdough Oat Bread

Ingredients
- 1 c. warm water (110~)
- 2 (1/4 oz.) pkg. active dry yeast (about 2 Tbsp.)
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. vegetable oil
- 2 c. sourdough starter
- 2 c. oat bran
- 1/3 c. wheat germ
- 3 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
Directions

1Grease 2 (9 x 5-inch) loaf pans.

2In a large bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water.

3Let stand 5 to 10 minutes or until foamy.

4Add oil and sourdough starter.

5Add dry ingredients and mix.

6On a lightly floured board, knead lightly for about 2 minutes.

7Place into greased pans; let rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk, about 1 1/2 hours.

8Preheat oven to 325°.

9Bake 20 minutes.

10Cover pans with foil; bake another 15 minutes or until loaf sounds hollow when tapped on bottom.

11Makes 2 loaves.
