- 2 c. sifted buttermilk corn meal
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. whole milk
- 1 small egg
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tbsp. fat
Directions

1Sift corn meal, baking powder and salt together in mixing bowl.

2Add milk to dry ingredients.

3Add egg and beat well.

4Add water to make a medium thick batter.

5Grease skillet with fat, pour batter in and bake at 450 degrees for 25 minutes.
