Ingredients
- 10 oz. extra lean ground beef or ground turkey
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, mined
- 1 c. Italian tomatoes (undrained)
- 1 c. tomato sauce
- 1/3 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/3 c. chopped celery
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
- 2 c. hot, cooked spaghetti
Directions

1Cook ground meat, onion and garlic until meat is brown and vegetables are tender.

2Drain on paper towel.

3Return to skillet and add remaining ingredients except spaghetti.

4Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer over low heat for 45 minutes. Uncover and continue simmering 15 minutes until sauce is thick. Serve over spaghetti.
