- 1 stick Butter
- 1 medium Yellow Onion
- 24 oz Canned tomatoes
- 1 tbsp Vinegar
- 1/2 box Spaghetti
- 1 salt and pepper
Directions

1Slice onion finely.

2Heat onion gently with butter in a sauce pot until just beginning to caramelize.

3Add diced tomato.

4Simmer gently for about 15 minutes.

5Get your pasta cooking.

6Add vinegar to marinara.

7Continue simmering.

8When the pasta is nearly cooked to your liking, strain it and transfer into the sauce.

9Continue cooking pasta gently in sauce, just until done.

10Season, serve and consume.

11I tossed some arugula and olive oil on mine, but that's all just decoration really.
