  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1 envelope French-style spaghetti sauce
  • 2 c. water or more
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 bay leaf, crumbled
  • 1 tsp. cumin powder
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • salt to taste
  • mushrooms (optional)

Directions
