- 2 large cans tomatoes
- 2 medium cans tomato paste, then fill empty cans with water
- 2 large cans tomato sauce
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 2 lb. hamburger ground chuck
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Use a big pot. Heat oil and cook chopped onion. Put in the ground beef; let cook until brown. Add garlic salt, oregano, sugar and a couple dashes of pepper. Add the tomatoes, paste and water. Cook slowly for about 3 hours.

2The sauce should be thick. Stir frequently to prevent scorching. Makes 8 servings.
