- 1 large can tomatoes
- 1 small size can puree
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 2 medium onions
- mushrooms (optional)
- 1 lb. hamburg
- 2 to 3 green peppers
- Italian seasoning
- oregano
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Fry onions, green peppers and mushrooms in oil.

2Add hamburg. Drain fat.

3Add tomatoes, sauce and paste together in a large kettle.

4Mix well.

5Season with 4 shakes of Italian seasoning, 3 shakes oregano and salt and pepper to taste.

6Add crushed garlic. Cook uncovered, simmering 4 to 6 hours or longer.
