  • 25 c. peeled, chopped tomatoes
  • 4 chopped green peppers
  • 5 chopped onions
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 10 tsp. canning salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
  • 5 tsp. garlic salt
  • 2 to 3 tsp. pepper
  • 1 3/4 c. oil
  • 2 large pkg. Lawry's spaghetti sauce
  • 10 (4 oz.) or 5 (8 oz.) cans tomato paste
  • 10 c. water

Directions

    Heat oil; add peppers.

    Mix all ingredients.

    Cook until thick. Place in jars and process in boiling water bath for 15 minutes. For low-fat, omit oil.

    Remove seeds from tomatoes for seedless sauce.
