- 2 to 3 medium onions, diced
- 1 large bell pepper, diced
- 2 to 3 cloves garlic, diced
- 1 lb. lean ground meat
- 2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes
- 1 large can tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1In large frying pan, saute onions, bell pepper and garlic in 1 tablespoon olive oil until tender.

2Pour into large Dutch oven. Then brown meat and add to onions, pepper and garlic.

3Mix tomatoes, tomato paste and sugar into meat and vegetable mixture. Cook, covered, on high until mixture starts to bubble, watching carefully.

4Turn down to low and cook 4 hours, stirring every now and then.

5Serve over cooked spaghetti noodles.

6Serves about 8.
