  • 1/2 bushel tomato
  • 3 lb. onion
  • 4 green pepper (sweet)
  • 3 hot pepper
  • 1 garlic bulb
  • 1 c. Crisco oil
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. salt (coarse)
  • 1 Tbsp. oregano
  • 1 Tbsp. basil
  • 10 (6 oz.) can tomato paste

Directions

    Extract juice from tomatoes.

    Cook with tomatoes for 1 1/2 hours.

    Then add oil, sugar, salt, oregano, basil and tomato paste.

    Cook for 45 minutes and seal.

    Cold pack 50 minutes.
