- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- 1 c. celery, chopped
- 1 medium carrot, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 1/2 c. water
- 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans diced tomatoes
- 1 (13 to 15 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. Italian seasonings, crushed
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 lb. spaghetti, broken into 2-inch pieces
Directions

1In Dutch oven, brown meat, onion, green pepper, celery, carrot and garlic until tender.

2Drain off fat.

3Add water, tomatoes, sauce, sugar and seasonings.

4Bring to boil.

5Add spaghetti; reduce heat.

6Boil gently, uncovered, 12 to 15 minutes until spaghetti is tender.
