- 1 large spaghetti squash
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh chives (garnish)
Directions

1Cut squash in half lengthwise and remove seeds.

2Place squash halves, cut side down, in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan and add boiling water to pan to a depth of 1 1/2-inches.

3Bake at 350° for 50 minutes or until tender.

4Remove from oven; let cool slightly. Using a fork, remove spaghetti-like strands of squash.

5Combine squash, butter, salt and pepper in a bowl.

6Toss until coated. Transfer to a serving plater and garnish, if desired.

7Serve immediately.
