  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 lb. ground pork
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 3 chopped garlic cloves
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 4 c. tomato juice
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 lb. spaghetti

Directions

    Mix ground beef and pork (I use sausage) and form balls.

    Fry meat balls, garlic and onion in olive oil.

    Brown meat well.

    Add tomato juice, paste, salt, red pepper and oregano.

    Simmer 2 hours, covered.

    Then add cream of mushroom soup and Parmesan cheese.

    Combine spaghetti (cooked).

    Pour into a 3-quart casserole dish.

    Top with green pepper rings.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
