  • 5 lb. hamburger
  • 29 oz. can tomato sauce (Spanish)
  • 15 oz. can tomato sauce (Spanish)
  • water (equal amount as sauce)
  • 2 cloves garlic, sliced and chopped
  • 1 medium yellow Spanish onion, diced
  • 4 oz. Bloemer's chili powder (not chili seasoning)
  • 2 cans (about 27 oz. in all) red beans (plain)
  • dash of black pepper

Directions

    Fry hamburger and drain grease.

    Add all other ingredients. Stir and bring to bubbling.

    Transfer to crock-pot.

    Cook 8 to 12 hours on low heat.
