- 1 Tbsp. gelatin
- 3 c. milk
- 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 egg whites
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Scald milk with gelatin and sugar added.

2Add egg yolks and cook until

3mixture coats spoon.

4Beat egg whites until stiff. After removing custard from heat, fold in egg whites, salt and vanilla.

5Pour into a dish to set.

6Serve plain, with vanilla sauce or whipped cream.
