  • 5 c. whole grain rice
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 2 Tbsp. taco sauce or picante sauce

Directions

    Boil rice until tender.

    Let rice stand, then drain.

    Brown hamburger until done.

    Dice up bell pepper and onion.

    Add these and tomato sauce to hamburger.

    Add hamburger mixture to cooked rice; simmer for about 10 minutes.

    Remove from heat.
