- 5 c. whole grain rice
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 onion
- 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 2 Tbsp. taco sauce or picante sauce
Directions

1Boil rice until tender.

2Let rice stand, then drain.

3Brown hamburger until done.

4Dice up bell pepper and onion.

5Add these and tomato sauce to hamburger.

6Add hamburger mixture to cooked rice; simmer for about 10 minutes.

7Remove from heat.
