- 1 lb. rice
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1/4 c. fresh cilantro
- 1/2 c. tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2 c. water
Directions

1In a deep skillet heat oil; add onions, tomato, green peppers, cilantro, garlic powder, salt, pepper, rice and tomato sauce.

2Add water to just go over the rice.

3Boil.

4Cover on low heat for 15 minutes.

5Stir; cover until done.
