- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 1 c. long grain rice (uncooked)
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 2 to 3 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of black pepper
Directions

1Brown rice in oil in skillet.

2Pour tomato sauce and water in skillet after rice has browned.

3Add onion, salt and pepper.

4Cook at medium heat for approximately 40 minutes.

5Stir occasionally. If rice starts sticking, add more water.
