  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 1/3 c. precooked rice
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1 1/4 c. hot water
  • 2 c. cooked tomatoes, drained
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans seasoned tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. hamburg, browned and drained

Directions

    Cook green pepper, onion and rice in oil until lightly browned, stirring constantly.

    Dissolve bouillon cube in hot water; add to rice mixture along with tomato sauce, tomatoes and meat.

    Mix and bring to boil.

    Reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes.
