- 1/4 cups Margarine Or Oil
- 1/4 whole Medium Onion, Diced
- 1/2 whole Red Or Green Pepper, Diced
- 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
- 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Crushed Tomatoes
- 1-1/2 cup Converted Rice (white Rice Will Get Very Mushy With All The Stirring Required)
- 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
- 2 cups Water
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Pepper
Directions

1In a large saucepan over low heat, heat oil and saute onion, pepper, and garlic for 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and bring all to a boil. Simmer over low heat, stirring often to prevent burning.

2Cook for 25-30 minutes until done. Add extra water if needed.
