  • 2 cups instant rice
  • 1 (14 ounce) can tomatoes, cut up
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon pepper
